A concept by Angela Șindeli
Your voice,
your balance.
Rigour. Expression. Functionality.
I work with the voice beyond sound — where technique, science, emotion and therapy meet to restore balance, functionality and authentic expression.

About
The voice as expression, structure and balance.
As a soprano, I have understood that the voice is not only expression, but also structure.
As a voice therapist, I have felt that the voice does not only ask for control, but also for balance.
As a singing teacher, I have seen that the voice develops not only through exercise, but through understanding the mechanism that sustains it.
As a practitioner, I always consider the psycho-emotional dimension that directly influences how the voice functions.
“This is why I work with the voice beyond sound — where technique, science, emotion and therapy meet to restore balance, functionality and authentic expression.”
What is Vocology?
The science and art of the human voice.
Vocology is the discipline that integrates musical pedagogy, phoniatrics and acoustic science, addressing the voice from the perspective of performance as well as health, prevention and recovery.
Angela Șindeli applies these principles within a professional framework that combines artistic and clinical training, offering an approach rarely encountered in Romania, supported by stage experience, academic background and a voice therapist licence issued by the Ministry of Health.
Vocal Coach · Classical Singing
Vocal technique and the art of interpretation
A professional framework for rebuilding and refining the voice, at the intersection of classical singing tradition and contemporary research. Each intervention is personalised, aiming at technical alignment, sonic freedom and artistic expression.
Who it's for
Professional artists, pupils and students in specialised high schools and universities, content creators, and passionate amateurs who want more control, freedom, expressiveness and confidence in their voice.
Through individual classical singing lessons, I develop the voice by working in an integrated way on breathing, emission, resonance, diction and the style appropriate to the chosen repertoire. My approach is personalised and starts from the natural anatomy and capacity of each voice, in order to build a stable, healthy technique adapted to every professional context.
Every voice has its own structure and a specific way of responding, which is why I do not apply standardised methods, but work from each person's technical habits and real potential. To develop and reach its full form, the voice needs time, patience and perseverance. Nothing else works, even if shortcuts may sound tempting. A living organism — as the voice is — does not consolidate overnight.
Along this path I take into account not only the technical aspects of the voice, but also how emotion, focus and inner state influence the way the voice manifests in real time.

Voice Therapy
Recovery and protection of the professional voice
A professional framework for vocal assessment, prevention and rehabilitation, at the intersection of modern therapeutic intervention and validated principles of voice science and phoniatrics. Care for the health of the vocal apparatus, as well as comfort in phonation and natural freedom of expression.
Who it's for
People who use their voice intensively at work and want to prevent fatigue or damage, as well as those already dealing with hoarseness, tension, discomfort or other vocal pathologies.
In voice therapy I work with people facing different difficulties or pathologies — from hoarseness and chronic overuse to vocal nodules, dysphonia and other diagnosed conditions. The process begins with a careful vocal assessment and continues with personalised exercises based on SOVT technique and other clinically validated methods, designed to restore the voice's normal balance, functionality and comfort.
For optimal results I consider collaboration with the ENT physician and the phoniatrician essential, because healthy and effective vocal recovery needs both therapeutic support and specialised medical monitoring throughout the process and, periodically, after therapy sessions end.

Professional experience
At the intersection of art and clinical practice.
I work as an independent voice therapist and as a collaborator at the Audifon Medical Centre, where I address the voice from an integrated perspective at the intersection of clinical intervention, voice science and artistic experience. In the therapeutic process I work together with ENT and phoniatric physicians, in carefully personalised assessment and vocal rehabilitation programmes.
With over a decade of academic activity, I served as associate lecturer at the National University of Music in Bucharest (2011–2025), initiating future artists into the art of classical singing — both choral and module singing — with a focus on vocal awareness, technical balance and the health of the phonatory apparatus.
In parallel, I work as a lyric artist (soprano), with a national and international artistic presence, an experience that gives me a direct and applied understanding of the voice in contexts of performance, endurance and expressiveness.
My involvement also includes coordinating international educational and artistic projects within UNMB and the European IN.TUNE Alliance, as well as initiating and developing the programmes Opera out of Opera, Opera2People, Reverii and the international masterclass CantOstuni, dedicated to vocal training and interdisciplinary dialogue.
“A healthy voice is not an optional benefit, but an essential instrument of professional performance.”
Training & expertise
Research, artistic practice, vocal education.
My academic training includes a Global Arts MBA (Global Leaders Institute for Arts and Innovation), doctoral studies (PhD in Music and Performing Arts, summa cum laude), and a master's and bachelor's in Musical Performance at the National University of Music in Bucharest.
In the field of voice therapy I hold the independent practice licence issued by DSP Bucharest, and I have completed specialised training programmes with the Romanian Phoniatric Society and UMF “Iuliu Hațieganu”, as well as advanced courses in the DoctorVox technique under Dr. Ilter Denizoglu. I continue my training through Vocal Health Education programmes and mindfulness applied to the voice.
International experience
Workshops, training and projects with human impact.
I have served as a lecturer and trainer in international workshops and programmes, collaborating with institutions such as JAM MUSIC LAB University (Vienna), Joseph Haydn Konservatorium (Austria), Eurovox (Netherlands) and educational programmes in Guatemala, addressing topics such as functional breathing, vocal health and artistic expression.
I am also involved in projects with an interdisciplinary and human dimension, such as The Vocal Identity Project, dedicated to vocal recovery in oncological contexts, where the voice is seen as a tool for reconstruction, identity and resilience.
The VoxVibe Method
Voice. Wellbeing. Balance.
A living resource through which identity, emotions, intentions and the quality of presence are expressed.
A healthy voice is not only a working tool and an indicator of professional performance, but a living and dynamic resource through which identity, emotions, intentions and the quality of presence in relation to others are expressed.
The voice is understood as a complex system in which the biological, functional and behavioural dimensions constantly interact with the emotional one, influencing both the efficiency of communication and overall wellbeing and the capacity to adapt in demanding professional contexts.
Caring for the voice is not a one-off act but an ongoing process of awareness, assessment and optimisation. Through the VoxVibe method, this is structured within a coherent framework that allows individualised intervention by correlating clinical assessment, functional analysis and the emotional-expressive dimension.
VoxVibe thus enables an integrative approach in which the voice is not reduced to a performance tool, but treated as a complex indicator of the balance of the whole organism — where vocal efficiency, functional resilience and expressive authenticity are interdependent.
